Sarah L. Hunter
Resolving a divorce case can be hard, but I can help to make it less so. I use the expertise I developed as a family law litigator to help people resolve their issues with respect, compassion, and dignity. If children are involved, it is paramount to me that I assist the parties in preserving a productive and supportive co-parenting relationship.
In 1990 I began practicing law and have experience with dissolution cases of all types and sizes. I am particularly skilled at parenting plans in high conflict situations. I am comfortable with any type of dispute resolution method that works best for the parties and for the attorneys.
I earned my JD from Seattle University School of Law where I served on the Law Review. Since then I have practiced with various firms in the Seattle area and continue to enhance my education and skills.

Services
Family Law Dispute Resolution
I am comfortable with whatever family law dispute resolution method works best for the parties, and will discuss that during our initial call. I offer my time to parties represented by counsel in half-day and full-day sessions. For parties without counsel, we will discuss the best way to proceed during our initial call.
Depending on your needs, and current Covid protocols, I can accommodate Zoom conferences or in-person meetings at your office. I also offer conference rooms at my office.
Each party will be responsible for half of the total fee for the session due one week prior to the session or at the time of scheduling, whichever is closer to the session date. Should the session go over the allotted time, the extra time will be paid in full at the end of the session.

Payments
Each party will pay half of the session's total fee one week in advance or at the time of scheduling, whichever is closer to the session date, to hold their space on the calendar.
Should the session go over the allotted time, the extra time will be paid in full at the end of the session.
